I am known professionally as Dr. Torres and am dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based patient care, with clinical and research interests in skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, artificial intelligence, aesthetic dermatology, and emerging technologies.
About
I am a dermatology resident at Mayo Clinic Florida, where I care for patients with a broad range of medical, surgical, oncologic, and aesthetic dermatologic conditions. I am also a graduate student in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, I completed residency training in Aesthetic Medicine in Colombia, served as faculty at Universidad del Rosario, and led ADEI, Aesthetics and Dermatology Institute.
My background spans patient care, medical education, research, and healthcare innovation. I am particularly interested in improving skin cancer prevention and treatment, advancing dermatologic surgery, and responsibly integrating artificial intelligence and emerging technologies into clinical practice.
